sir ANTONY GORMLEY
A distinguished British artist and sculptor, Antony Gormley won the Turner Prize in 1994 and has been a Royal Academician since 2003. He is one of the most critically respected artists working internationally, with works that have universal resonance. He is widely acclaimed for his sculptures, installations and public artworks that investigate the relationship between the human body and space. Gormley continually tries to identify the space of art as a place of becoming in which new behaviours, thoughts and feelings can arise.
